How to Clean and Maintain Acrylic Prints for Long-lasting Beauty
A favourite photograph deserves to stay clear and bright, whether it brings a coastal view, a family moment or a memorable journey into your room. A little gentle care helps keep the glossy surface of your acrylic print looking its best.
How do you clean an acrylic photo print?
For everyday dust and light marks, gently wipe the front with a clean, soft cloth lightly dampened with water. Use light pressure and keep moisture away from the edges and back. Follow the care instructions supplied with your print.
- Check your cloth: Use a clean, soft, lint-free cloth with no grit or debris.
- Dampen it lightly: Apply water to the cloth rather than spraying the panel. The cloth should be damp, not dripping.
- Wipe gently: Clean the front with light pressure. If a mark remains, avoid repeated heavy rubbing.
- Blot excess moisture: Use a clean, soft cloth without scrubbing, and do not let liquid run around the edges or onto the back.

Can I use window cleaner on an acrylic print?
Avoid ordinary window-cleaning sprays, abrasive cleaners and solvent-based products unless the care instructions for your specific print approve them. Also avoid rough or gritty cloths, scouring pads and paper towels. A product described as suitable for glass is not automatically suitable for acrylic.

Yes. Our acrylic glass is water-resistant and scratch-resistant, with UV protection. Print Panoramics acrylic prints are suitable for moisture-prone bathrooms and kitchens. Gentle cleaning remains part of caring for the glossy surface. Do not soak the panel or scrub away marks.

Handling, hanging and storing your acrylic print
Support the panel carefully when moving it and avoid dragging its face or edges across other surfaces. Follow the supplied hanging instructions and use wall fixings appropriate for the wall and finished print. If you need to store it, protect the surface with clean, soft packaging and avoid placing items directly against the printed panel.
